Glue (glue)
Glue was the long-running ASCII/ANSI collective that refused to be killed by any of the natural killers of burnout, internet, leadership crashes, and the death of the BBS. It started releasing in 1997 and was still putting up packs in 2002, then a brief revival in 2003-style spirit. The Glue catalog sprawled across the late-90s peak and the post-Y2K shrinkage with stubborn good humor. The center of gravity was always catch22 and when catch22 went absent in early 2000, Ministar stepped up with one of the better pep talks in scene NFO history. The lineup was a who's-who of late-90s ASCII: tHERUIN3r (until his retirement piece in glue-21), ZeroVision, Avenging Angel, Crimson Skye, Filth, Klumzee, Polygon, President, Riddler, Somberlain, Enzo. Glue's signature wasn't a house style so much as a posture with community over manifesto, packs over politics. Its name was apt.
