Legend (legend)

Legend was Deeply Disturbed and Somms's mid-1995 breakaway. Formed in June after they pulled Terminator 2 and Neurotic out of iCE, with Asian Knight, Bloodshot, Corwin of Amber, Grateful Dead, Iodine, Morbius, Mr. Sinister, Prince of Death, Smooth, Soul Blazer, and The Clone filling out the founding roster. The group's brief existence was structured around an eventual merger pitch: Deeply Disturbed's attempt to fold Legend into ACiD in September 1995, which fell apart when Somms left town. Neurotic took the failed merger as cause to bolt back to UNiON. By year's end Legend had effectively dissolved into the bigger players it had recruited from. Brief, well-connected, ultimately a way station.
