Mr. Wrong, Spear, and Zippy ran The Used Coalition through 2000 as the millennial counter-attack: anti-corporate, anti-Y2K-celebration, anti-pretty much everything. The Used absorbed defectors fast: Knocturnal, Propane, Sensei, The Fourth Disciple, Ironghost, Martz, Tripulogic, Fat Pacifist on rip art. A two-year window of one of the more politically engaged operations of the millennial transition, run by people who meant it. The Used Coalition is the rare scene group whose disgust was the product, not the marketing.
