ACiD Productions (tag)

When ACiD walked out the door of A.A.A. in November 1990, they didn't just split a group, they invented the modern art scene. Founded by RaD Man, Phantom, Shadow Demon, Grimm, and The Beholder, the crew distilled the messy AAA experiment into something cleaner and harder-edged: no warez, no half-measures, just ANSi for the boards. Their first pack, ACDU1190, set the template that everyone copied for the next decade and then for two more decades after that. By the mid-90s they were the institution. SAUCE was their format; ACiDView was the standard viewer; their member rosters read like a who's who of every legend you've ever heard of. Pack #100 landed January 1, 2004. ACiD isn't just one of the great underground groups. It's the underground group and the one every other crew either revered, resented, or quietly imitated. Pack #1 to #100 is the spine of the scene's entire history.
