pulsating like a he
art. The throbbing sound increased in my brain as I approached the
glowing orb.
Every hardened step I took was like a shot to my head. Boiling blo
od coursed th
rough my veins like a soul just released from hell. The pain was h
orrificly ple
asurable. I could feel my skull crack from the pressure, still I
advanced, sti
ll the globe beat. I lunged forward clasped the globe. I was imm
ediately bomb
arded by a flurry of sensations. I saw sights that you would not b
elieve, exper
ienced pleasures thought unobtained, stepped into lives that had y
et to be born
. When I let go, I was old, sick. In a matter of seconds I had liv
ed a century.

und, body agi
ng at cursed speed. My corpse decayed into dust, soon all signs o
f my passing
were eradicated from the face of the earth.
