happy first anniversary

One year. whoa. when i say it, it seems so long, but did it ever go by
fast. one year. its hard to believe weve been around that long. but
it isnt hard to believe that we lasted that long. two over ambitious
kids, starting a group from scratch with a no-meaning name, and taking on
the big leaguers is the result of 12 packs of hard work. we definatly had
to work to earn your respect tho. no one who joined glue was a big name
beforehand. this is where the legends of the future are born. other groups
to have form recently, all have been founded by big names, big talent.
theres nothing wrong with that, its just that they get noticed from pack 1. i bet a bunch of you still havnt even heard of us : maybe this pack
will make you keep an eye open. weve always worked hard to keep your
interest, and our own. that effort hasnt died down one bit since we
started, and it wont be happening for a long time, if at all. we love
what we do, and we have fun doing it. that is the soul reason, that glue
will continue to strive in the future. and that is the soul reason, that
ansi dies with us,. ..

July was a fairly slow month for Glues ansi department, with the roster remaining pretty much intact. Platoonim, co-founder of Distant, was the first of two to join in the last thirty odd days. His works show great potential,
with traits reminiscent of newschool greats such as RZ and The Night Angel. Secondly, we felt great pride and privilege in welcoming Sevenup of Echo fame. Formerly known as Unique Phreak, he has a wonderful style all his own.
Though this has been done to death and back, Id like to state my feelings
concerning the ansi medium in general. Its not often that I add a lot of text to my work, so Id like to take the opportunity here. Ansi, of course,
is a form of art like every other in which different methods of production and styles are incorporated. The medium should be appreciated for its simplicity
and intimacy. My point being dont sell out to pseudo elitism and unneeded egoism. Draw, have fun, have fun drawing.

Nahal was originally supposed to be writing this, however I was unable to
get ahold of him in time for release. Regardless, there isnt much ascii
news to tell this month. The pack contains a minimal amount of ascii work,
mainly because our group lacks the artists. However, please dont hesitate
to apply as we are trying to build a respectable ascii base.

Well that about sums it up. we have drawn what we could , and hope that
you enjoy it. by the time youre reading this, ill be on vacation in
nova scotia, and i wont be back until the 15th of august. that cuts my
drawing time for this month by 8 days, and 15 days of next month. but
ill have stuff for you next month, and so will the rest of the boys.
