Sliver (sliver)

A 1997 Alberta-local ANSI group (403 area code) led by Demolisher and Unique Phreak. The manifesto was explicitly territorial with "sliver remains local to the 403 area code, though we are willing to accept a few long distance members" and the artists leaned into the regional identity rather than chasing scene-wide recognition. Sliver is what a confident provincial scene group looked like in the late 90s; local, decent, not interested in your validation.
