Bamboosh (bamboosh)
The Norwegian-Finnish all-format crew that ran 1996 through 1998. Based out of Optical Illusion BBS in Norway, Bamboosh built a multinational HQ network spanning Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Finland, Germany, and the US. The November 1996 roster was almost all teenagers, most in the 15-20 range, which made Bamboosh one of the youngest serious crews of the late '90s. A good test case for what serious European group infrastructure looked like in 1996-97. Multi-national, all-format, board-anchored, young, and clearly aware that BBSes were dying around them.
