123 (123)
Trip's Swedish solopack-with-friends series, started March 2000 with 123-01 and the tagline "vi kanske inte är bäst, men 2'a — 3'a är vi nog" ("maybe we're not the best, but we're at least 2nd or 3rd"), a piece of self-deprecation that captured the whole project. The series ran for six years with abstrakt designing the NFO and the core crew of shrimp/absent/spinsister/tripulogic/ansichrist/abstrakt on credits. The 2008 "#19" promised in the 2006 NFO never landed. 123 is the Swedish ASCII scene's least-pretentious through-line and a Stockholm-area solopack series that quietly outlasted half the bigger groups, kept its tagline, and never tried to be more than it was.
