This is Visions of Reality VORs second pack. Its been two
months since our last one, for we have been extremely busy with all sorts
of things from college entrance forms to vacations. VOR is a small local
group based in the 703 area code. Yeah, I know what youre thinking: Argh,
another crappy ansi group to stay away from. Well, we may be new, but we
aint bad. Were no ACID, but were not just any other local group. We
also have a different outlook on our art. The purpose of VOR is not only
to excell as a group, but to help each other and learn from one another.
This may sound dorky to some of you, but we feel this will help everyone
in the group be the absolute best they can be, resulting in a better group.
VOR started out with the purpose to let new and inexperienced artists join
and gain experience. Soon, a few of the experienced artists who were getting
tired of bull from the big groups decided to join because they thought that
it was an experience they would enjoy working through. Anyways, time passed.
The members looked like a disaster. The art look disasterous. But people
were having fun, and that was the point of the group, to have fun. Soon
people started getting better at art. Then some people started producing
impressive work. The group was looking better. Then we realized our leader
had been gone and we didnt even notice it. I know that sounds bad, but
I guess he didnt help us as much as we thought. After a month or two
we heard rumours from sources that he had quit the scene totally. He was
right. Three months later, he pops up and apologizes to us about leaving
and being busy and that he had to quit. Our next step? To vote on new
leaders. So we did that, and Dark Wolf was elected president with Venom
and Widow Maker as council members, each, currently, with equal power.
Since then the new leaders have been very busy pushing people to work
and helping them get better. Now problems are occuring. As we become a
bigger group, we have the problems of the bigger groups. We have many
contreversial topics to deal with in the group now, but the leaders are
trying to keep everything controllable. Welp, enough talk about us, let
our work do the rest of our talking.
Oh, and excuse of for the lack of ANSI this month, we have had a lot
of stuff that has been backing us up. You will see more in the future.
