Instructions: To view the ANSIs simply run the file TSDVIEW.EXE.
This will load up one of the TSD ANSI Viewers and allow
you to pick and choose the ANSIs to view.
To view the VGA pics/loaders simply run the appropriate
files.
To listen to the cool MODs, use your favorite .MOD player.
For a description of all files in the package, view the
file FILES.TSD.

What is THE SHINING DARKNESS??
If you havent guessed by now, The Shining Darkness/TSD is a computer art
group. Notice that TSD is an art group not a DEMO group, therefore we do
NOT specialize in coding demos or other fancy things. This does not mean we
will never attempt to, but it means that what you should expect from TSD
is just straight art.
When TSD was first formed in early 1992, the main purpose was to create
ANSIs for BBSs. The founder and sole member at the time was Blue Beetle,
who is the current president and founder. In time, TSD acquired a HQ and
some more members. Though TSD now does art in forms other than ANSI, the
creation of fine ANSI graphics is still the main course the group is taking.
TSD is based in 403 Edmonton, and though there is also a site in
914, the group is mostly a local group. With the release of our first
art package, we intend to expand the group and gain recognition. Our goal
is to create fine works of art that will be recognized by the modeming
community. We are not here to sling mud at other groups or hang around and
act like k00l k-rad dudes.

Basically the group is composed of very few members and probably none
that you are familiar with when you think of ANSI/etc.. if youre outside of
Edmonton. This doesnt mean the quality of our work is bad. We are confident
that we will be able to build the group into a competitor for other ANSI/ART
groups out there.
TSD is always looking for new members who can contribute their skills
to help the group. If you are interested in joining, fill out the application
included in this archive MEMBER.APP and follow the directions given.
TSD is also interested in increasing publicity so if you want to help
yourself and help the group, feel free to pick up an art request form to
get some ANSIs, VGAs, or .MODs done for you! The file is ART-REQ.APP. Follow
the directions within.
