Well, heres pack 2. We have several new members this month who appear
to have alot of potential. SCaRVieW was supposed to be included with
pack, but it is still way too buggy to be released. I wrote all the
ANSi translation routines manually BTW, its coded in Turbo Pascal
as opposed to porting the file through ANSI.SYS, so the animations and
long, intricate, scrolling ansis are a little tricky to get just right.
As soon as it is fully debugged, I will release it hopefully in the
next couple weeks. OK, that aside, this is a very diverse pak compared
to pak 1 one of our new members is quite adept at ray-traced GIFs and
has made two for this pak. There are contracted-ads for quite a few
boards and the usual slew of ansis for use with ViSiON/2 or ViSiON-X,
with a few modifications. Also included is a complete protocol pack for
ViSiON/2 0.72 includes protocols, prot .DAT files, and prot .ANS files,
for GSZ, HS-Link 1.21, Super ZModem 2.00, and ZyRioN 3.00 and a V/2
message header pack that I threw together. Of course, fully updated
versions of Njlit and GAR are included for your enjoyment. If all goes
well, the March pak should include alot more VGA GIF and RiP formats
some MoD files. SCaR is growing slowly but surely we now have sites in
Pennsylvania and Florida and in another month we will hopefully cover the
entire east coast. If you are interested in becoming a part of the SCaR
team, just make an ascii file with everything you think we ought to know
about you, and then upload the file directly to DaZeD AnD ConfuSeD or The
Sleeping Cow for evaluation. We need talented artists, coders, musicians,
writers, and couriers, so apply if you have wasted skills in one of these
categories. Hmmm...well, thats all she wrote! See ya next month.
