FINALLY! Welcome to the Thirty-Second issue of Superior Art!
First and foremost, my sincere apologies for the huge delay
with this pack. We still plan on releasing at the end of
March, so you wont have to wait too long for the next
overdose of elegant artwork!
Its the TENTH ANNIVERSARY! Can you believe it? Were still
carrying on Roy and Heteros legacy ten years after SAC
released its first artpack at a demoparty in Herning/Denmark
in 1994. We are overjoyed to be a part of such a legendary
group, and this pack is dedicated to you guys. We have
nothing but love and respect for you. I personally would
also like to thank ferrex for his hard work over the years,
for he helped keep the group alive during some tough times.
You can hardly find him around anymore, but when hes around
it is a special occasion.
Great thanks go out to all of our fans, supporters, and
our very own artists worldwide. SAC has a vast amount of
talent and is truly the dominant force in the PC artscene.
Wed like to welcome back the Sickdoctor himself, yes, the
king of high-res is back, and in SAC! Everyone needs a break
from time to time - glad to have you Serges! Also, a new and
upcoming artist Fourth has joined the ranks as oldschool and
block artist. Welcome aboard! Cru has also returned after a
2 year break. Glad to have you back as well!
If you think you have the skills needed to join the premiere
ascii/high-res group, dont hesitate to contact us! We are
always on the lookout for fresh, new talent!
* SAC 32 - WHAT TO LOOK FOR, AND ISSUE SUMMARY! READ BELOW!
This issue is certainly special. Notable major releases
include a new collection of oldschool art by Nerv entitled
Burning the Cactus Spine - I am thoroughly impressed with
this collection, being Nervs second ever. Exceptional work!
Also, look out for the * long anticipated * oldschool
collection by Scour. This collection, rightfully titled
Louder than Words CANNOT be missed, even if you dont
like oldschool style ascii. You will not be disappointed ...
with either of these masterpieces. Webpigeo continues to
slam us with his smooth high-res and ascii in large
quantities, and in this case, quantity does not undermine
quality. Nicely done. Crusader continues to overwork saliva
glands with his masterfully done oldschool art. *SITEOPS!*
Crusader has now created a complete package of glftpd
artwork for your sites, so be sure to check that out! Asphyx
returns with more of his superb block ascii and highres art,
cRu and pDz both drop single asciis WEAK! COME ON GUYS! Ha.
I kid, and Serge shows us how its done with his high-res
art. Flames steams things up with his block and newschool
ascii conveniently put together all in one jpg. Eboys got
me doing handstands with his amazing high-res pieces
handstands? what? - I hope to see more high-res from him,
we already know hes incredible at block ascii. Fourth
begins his long journey with SAC with his oldshcool and
block art, showing us his first steps of his progression and
evolution as an artist. Dipswitch continues to own hard with
his well-known and ripped! ha oldschool style. Svenzzons
tunes keep us bobbin our heads up and down while viewing
superior artwork. Svenz and thamake r have put together a
very nice 10th anniversary SAC intro for the pack, so be
sure to check it out! Thank you both for your hard work.
