Nineteen muthafuckin niiiiiiiiine tre. And were back in this
bitch. Ah.. had to get that out of my system. Ok. Welp, this is the third
RIOT Uprising and were still going strong. We have gained a little more
publicity in this past month along with a few new members.
Ok, for some strange reason, many groups have contacted us about
merging into them. All of them were surprised when we said no. Why is this?
Did somebody go around telling people that RIOT was desperate to merge or
something? Anyways, whoever you are hearing this from, its bullshit. All
RIOT members have come over idividually, meaning RIOT has never merged with
any group. This doesnt mean that we wouldnt ever though.
I do not know what is going on with Leviathan Coding Cartel. Their
president Tomahawk has been involved with more important things in life, and
hasnt been active in the scene. I have even seen many of the LCC members
with different group names in their tag. Obviously nobody ever contacted
them about being in RIOT, or they just didnt like the group inside a group
concept. Tomahawk will probably have more info on LCC for you in the next
Uprising.
New Artists:
CrimeLord - A former TaG artist who moves into RIOT and brings with
him an incredible talent for drawing still pics and
logos.
Freeze - He was the founder and president of HouSe. If you dont
remember, HouSe was the group that brought us iCY and
Dreamevil, and had JED on its team as well. After their
merge with MiRAGE, Freeze pulled out and has been drawing
freelance ever since. He does VANSiS and draws in one of
the weirdous style you will ever see. Check out some of
his VANSiS in this months Uprising.
StreakeR - A former artist for NEMESiS. He is good with ansi logos
and such. He will definitely add more support to the
roster as well as to the Uprising packs. Ignore the
lowercase is in his ansis in this months pack. Those
ansis were trials.
New Couriers: Demon Slayer, Reaper Wildwood, The Jester
More RIOT couriers are needed. There are way too many sites and not
enough couriers to handle them, resulting in frustrated sysops and confusion.
If you would like to become a RIOT courier, pick up the app in this pack and
fill it out. We are still in need of a courier coordinator, so if you have
experience in this field, contact us as soon as possible.
Which reminds me.. we are no longer excepting distribution sites.
There may be a possible exception here and there, but for the most part, we
have enough sites to work with. I know the app generator still has a site
application, but ingore it.
BTW, everybody check out the VANSiS compiled by Freeze in this pack.
The files should be called FZ-RIOT?.ZIP, ? meaning a number of course.
