The author, nor anyone affiliated with RCA, can
be claimed responsible for any direct or incid-
ental damage this program might cause. You are
using it at your own risk! Note that this is the
FIRST release of this program and it is almost
guarenteed that many will encounter problems
with the program. These are your problems to
deal with, and our problem to solve. In plain
english: dont come runnin to us if somethin
goes wrong. Who are you to cast the first stone? :

RCAview 1.2, Despite its title, is a completely revamped program.
The original code to RCAview was lost when the coders hard disk
crashed, and RCA was left with an un-updateable viewer. Starting
from scratch, Shade has redone the whole works completely, an his
his efforts are seen in the impressive list of features:
ANSI decoding no need for ANSI.SYS!
25/50 line viewing mode
RIP support
GIF and PCX viewing though its a bit buggy at this point
Listen to music while you view! 4 channel MOD
File exclusions MOD, S3M, EXE, etc.
Clean, effecient interface
As you can see, Shade has worked hard to get all the bases covered.
One point wed like to stress though is that this viewer will be
updated, quite possibly every month. In the future look for a real
ansi scroller, flic support, more options and viewing modes, bug
fixes, and a whole slew of other improvements. This is the first
release of this version so we do expect alot of bugs, so it would
be much appreciated if when you encounter a bug, if you would please
fill out the bug report bellow and upload it to Shade on the Guild
or the Alter Ego.
Please describe the nature of the bug:
Please describe your system and setup processor, memory, mem manager
If any, what piece of art did the bug occur while viewing?
Thank you for your help in making RCAview a better viewer!
Coders note: Shade is willing to trade code to someone who has a
true ansi scroller where you can move up as well as down..so if
ya got one give us a call and well make a deal!
