INTRODUCTION
To paraphrase J.R.R. Tolkien, you must be careful
each time you
step out of your door, because your front walk is rea
lly a road, and
the road leads ever onward. The voyage into the
Darker realms of
the art scene is really no different from this, as the fa
teful step
out our front door was made almost two years ago with the
release of
our first Collection. Now the advent of summer brings th
e group
much rejuvenation, many new members, and many exciting ne
w projects.
Scheduled for release shortly in the coming weeks is
Vortex, Darks
premiere music disk. Moby, who has been overseei
ng the whole project,
can assert that this event is a must-hear for those who
appreciate
fine music. In the meantime, another feature attraction
for Internet
junkies includes the unveiling of the official Dark home-
page this
month. Epitaph played an integral role in this e
ndeavour, which will,
among other things, allow Web-browsers to download any an
d all desired
Dark Collections and send Internet E-Mail to seniors. In
addition to
this, were all anxiously awaiting for the future release
of Darks
revolutionary interactive pack, which is expect
ed to redefine the
way we all look at each months Collection.
With all of that in mind, nothing is more certain than
the fact
that the incredible journey into the Dark side has only j
ust begun.
FILENAMES
The Dark files are still named as follows:
XXXXX-.DRK
XXXXX represents five characters for artist name.
is a hexadecimal
number representing the number of releases that artist ha
s made to date.
This file naming system is working out just fine for us a
nd hopefully
other groups may find this new method useful with getting
rid of the
multiple alias conflicts.
PIN THE TAIL ON THE ANSI
With the emergence of the concept of technologizing eve
ryday, simple
ideas, weve decided to take that old time party game, pi
n the tail on
the donkey, and give it a new twist. INSTRUCTIONS:
Using very sharp
scissors, cut out the tail. Get a pin or some tape, 3 or
4 friends,
and a blindfold. Blindfold one person or more, if your
e into that
kind of stuff. The blindfolded person gets to try to pi
n the tail on
the ANSI!

be, and Xeryrus. Tribe and Xeryru
will be drawing ANSI with us, while Neuropsychosis and Ch
emical Warfare
will be working in the music and communications divisions
, respectively.
We hope all will enjoy their time and contribute well whi
le in Dark.
