First off, Id like to sincerely thank everyone
who contributed to last months Chronicle. Overall, the
artwork in Chapter 3 was, in my opinion, Good, yet, below
previous standards. I feel that there was a definate lack
of member participation/production last month, and that I
may have released the packet prematurely.. . Nevertheless,
I released it.
Soon after its release and distribution I realized
that running the group wasnt much fun anymore, and had more
or less become a burden for me. I then decided, after much
hesitation, that Chapter 4, The June Pack would be the final
Crisis Chronicle. So, effective JUNE 1st, Crisis will cease
to exist. I came to this decision by realizing that the
following facts could no longer be ignored:
1. It has been nearly impossible to recruit members that
have considerable talent/experience, because there are
so many other art groups out there that are bigger,
better organized and more appealing than Crisis.
2. I no longer have the drive nor the desire needed to
run the group efficiently, and I basically see no point
in continuing, especially with the apparent lack of
intrest and participation in production of nearly 30
of the staff.
3. I can no longer afford to make the long distance calls
that were necessary in keeping in touch with the many
Headquarters and Distribution Sites of Crisis.
What Happens after the final packet is out?
I have talked with many different groups concerning
a merge, losing the Crisis Title, and there are two that look
to be very promising. If you would like more information about
the merge possibilities, then please E-Mail me.
Lets keep in touch for this final packet and try to atleast
make it worth downloading.. .
