People have been trading isos forever now.
With so many programs out there that do burning, as well as
so many ways to get the images up to the net, it comes
to a time where someone has to set standards.
Here we are.
All of our releases, and anyone elses in our opinions should
comply with the following set of agreed rules.
* 150000K 15mb Rar files to split up the image
* All Archives are NON Solid and NON Compressed i.e. you do NOT
spend 4 hrs archiving it, and someone doesnt spend 1 hr
unraring.That way it is 10 mins both ways 600mb file
* If possible, the person making the image should use
snapshot/dao or cdrwin by GoldenHawk Technologies
to create the image which should be in .bin format
with a .cue sheet file.
The reason we decided on this format, is that it is the
most hassle free format for making images of cds with
multiple tracks which constitute about 50 of all cds
out on the market.
* Whenever Wherever a CD Image file is being uploaded,
the peson uploading is responsible for including
the groups .nfo file, as well as making a directory
with the number of disks in the release.
eg. mkdir 44.Disks
* No images of cds which were out in stores before Nov. 97
should be released nowadays. Since this is a relatively
new scene, and there was alot of stuff prior to the iso
trading going full blast, we do not want to flood
ourselves with every garbage bin game lying around
for 5 in Compusa. In Other Words. Think.
