In addition to those, many people are helping us out from time to time and

Its important to note that we are all scene members. This makes us able to
understand problems you may encounter while attending YOUR Party. Yeah,
WiRED is YOUR Party ! This is why we ask you to feel free to contact us if
there is something you want to tell/ask us. We will be extremely glad to
answer your questions and receive your critics about some of the choices we

The entrance fee is right now, such as last year, of 900 Bfr 25. This

As usual ALL of the money from the entrance fee after we remove our costs
will be used as competitions prizes.
Tradition says that girls should enter for free at a party and we wont
break the tradition, would we? So girls dont have to pay any entrance fee.
Now dont forget to bring your girlfriend and sister to wired, ok?
Note that we do only accept payement in Belgian Francs Bfr., so make sure

* WILD COMPETITION
- Anything is allowed. Use your imagination!
- Contribution can be on video or on ANY hardware you wish.
- If you need any hardware, you MUST bring your hardware with you.
- We can play PAL, SECAM or NTSC VHS tapes.
- Any machine with a VGA, PAL, SECAM, or RGB output can be connected
to the big screen but note that the resolution limits are the
same than for the PC demo compo - higher resolutions could cause
a quite poor picture quality.
* SURPRISE COMPETITIONS
As usual some surprise competitions will be held.
This year again, our weaked brains have thought about many great surprise
compos. But that would be stupid to tell you about them now, wouldnt it?
* ANSI COMPETITION
The ansi compo is being organised by Zarkof/PrimusTelepathySe7enAegis
email: zarkof@ccim.be
- Maximum size: 80x200
Ansi can be viewed either in 80x25 or 80x50 mode.
Ansi will be viewed in ANSI and VGA mode.
It will scroll at a speed of a 14.4K modem.
- NO ANIMATION!
6. VOTING SYSTEM
Everyone will get a personnal voting disk at the entrance which will allow
safe computer voting.
The PC demos and PC 64k intros competitions entries will be judged in two
differents ways. There will be a public voting that will count for 60 and
a jury voting composed of well know and respected scene people that will
count for 40.
All the other compos will be judged by a public voting 100.
7. PRIZES MONEY
We, the organisers wont make any money out of the party. Unless some other
so called parties which are based on the money, we are organising the WiRED
party because we want to make a quality non commercial party and want to
keep a real scene spirit in it. All the money left from the entrances fee,
after we remove our costs, will be used for the competitions prizes. As we
cant say exactly how many people will attend the party we cant make an
estimation but considering the success of last year Wired party and as many
people said they will attend this year, one can guess its gonna be much.
The prizes will be payed in CASH, but additional hardware prizes might also
be ADDED to the prizes.
