Mekka Symposium or The Gathering this year?

why is 2000 filled with only good 3d acc prods? why isnt there
any non 3d acc good prods out so far?
Why was 1994 filled with vga demos? Where were the cga/ega
releases?

because 3d acceleration rules, all top-groups are switching to
hardware, or havent released anything this year :
btw i dont think there arent any good software prods, i myself
really like dead cells by haujobb.
but i agree, the hardware prods are better...
