Reunion (reunion)
Maestro founded Reunion in late 2006 with the explicit aim of dragging the remaining 2006 ANSI scene back into one room. Pack zero (reunion00) used an open-submission model where anyone could mail or IRC art to maestro and the contributor list was a who's-who of late-period veterans: 43 (Aesthetic), bs, bt, cr, fo, ks, mae, nd, sk!, tr, tsk, u3, we, and Avenging Angel doing colorist/font work on the title.
Pack two (reunion02) landed January 2007 and a similar guest-driven roster. Then the cadence stopped.
Reunion wasn't trying to be a group in the institutional sense as it was a hub for cross-affiliated work in a year when most artists were already nominal members of two or three other crews. As a project: short. As a curatorial gesture: real.
