About Warlock
The idea behind warlock is simple:
We love the BBS scene and we want to see it continue. By drawing,
modding, making doors, addons and utilities, we want to support the
BBS Sysop and make the Users experience the most it can be.
We are a small group of Sysops that want to promote and expand the
BBS scene. We welcome suggestions, requests and applications.
All requests can be done via our web page, or mail one of us on one
of the boards listed above.
Applications: We are looking for coders, artists both ansi and ascii,
and bbs modders. So far this group only does Mystic BBS Mods, we
welcome modders of other types of BBSs for any platform.
If you run a bbs web page or ftp site, email us and we will include you
in the distro list.
warlock News
Since this is the first pack, there really isnt any news
Gryphon joined Warlock, he was the author of Virtual Sysop and hes
working on a Barren Realms Elite clone game for Linux.
We have gotten quite a few applications, but no submissions. No
submissions means no consideration from us...sorry, but we need to see
your work before we accept you.
Notes from Gossamer Axe
Whelp, Ive been busy trying to put this pack together to release in
the first week of September 2001. Ive drawn some ansis for this pack
and done a few bbs mods, hope you like them. You can request ansis or
mods from me, gsmraxe@pacbell.net or get on metal edge and leave me
email. Ill also draw custom ansis for mods, and doors and such.
Thats it for me...See ya all next pack!!! next month I hope
Notes from Grymmjack
I joined warlock because I like boards and I like helping people out.
I hit it off with ne0 and gossamer, and one thing led to another, and
well the rest is history in the making. Its great to find some people
who are doing this kind of thing for the JOY of it and not driven by
some desire for recognition in the BBS scene.
I intend to contribute to the packs by drawing ANSi artwork that is
requested from those needing it -- much like the outworld arts way
of things. I also hope to do some pretty nice mods for a variety of
softwares that I admire and respect. I dabble in pascal and do not
consider myself a good programmer but I will make what limited
abilities I have available to those in need of it.
On a final note.. I waited around for glue to get their shit together
but it never happened. It sucks. I love glue I dont feel like
waiting anymore. So all the shit that I was going to put into glue
pack 36 is going in here instead. Sorry. No disrespect intended.
See you next pack!
