For real.
This is a call to all artists. This is directed towards whats left of true,
all the group leaders out there, and all the good artists still drawing but
contributing nothing to the scene or competition.
Now that youre groupless, youre going to need another group wait, this isnt
what you think its going to be. And Im saying, the scene needs you. Dont
join Mimic, and dont join CMM. Join one of the smaller, young groups thats
not run by an established scene figure. Or, start your own group. Do something,
because the scene needs help. The scene today is 2 strong groups, and about
5 shitty ones. Do something about this. Seeing as how mimic doesnt dare
to compete with the millionares, there isnt any competition anymore. You guys
can change this. Start a new group, or join an existing group. Use your name
recognition to build status for a group like hazmat, or secular. Theres a ton
of talent out there.
In fact... i could create a fantasy group right now from people who are
groupless or in a group that sucks, or never releases galza
Mydknight, otium man, iron lung, dr. shizuma, haji, spinsane, knocturnal,
aCk, holocaust, cat-dog, and about 10 others i cant remember right now.
That group right there would blow away cmm or mimic, hands down.
You cant continue to rely on established group leaders to start groups
and compete. Were tired of it me, cain, black jack, necromancer, etc.
The scene is not dead, its just that the talent is spread out and lazy.
Where are the up and coming superstars? Somebody do something, and make
a name for yourself. Quit your comfortable artist position in mimic,
or wherever you are, and go out on a limb. Do something innovative, or
creative.
Do something for your scene.
