hello, this is mogel. this month i
m whizzin out this here
introduction for the wacky samsara newsletter.
this month, weve got all
kinds of crazy stuff happening .. including as always t
he most funky,
innovative, crazy, wac
ky, sexy, jammin a
nsi in the scene today.
im excited. arent you!?
good!
the most obvious awesome news this month is of c
ourse, the
memberlist. after only one release one m
onth, samsara has grown from
6 to 14 members, not losing a
single one all members being high-quality
artists well, except for me - but im *speci
al*! or at least thats what
my teachers tell me!.
also interesting to note, this month *three
* different samsara
members won awards in fractals awards96
ansi ceremony. flame defiant
won
as best new ansi artists eerie
got honored as 4th best logo artist of a
ll
times. congratulations to everyone who won, as
well as to fractal all the
awards96 commitee.

concept that is *long*
overdue. something different with some wit to shake up t
he ansi scene.

the idea of greets usually makes me sick, but i th
ink its my time
to do some, just for the sake of recognizing some cool pe
ople that ive run
into from my recent glimmer into the ansi scene. so, uh,

as we speak, eerie is still kept as an hostage i
n halasters
trash can. several attempts to free him were do
ne, but none
prove to be succesful. in the meantime, eerie i
s still forced
to do ansi without any interruption. we will ke
ep you informed
as we get updates on the topic.

hello there, its me again. boy, this month went by slooo
owwww... well, it did
for me, anyways. id have to say, it was interresting, th
ough. with decades not working out at a
ll, ellisdee and i left, and then it died soo
nafter. ky leftalso, along with samnesia
. its alright though, it was better off this w
ay.
why? you might ask? because, it was a stupid
idea. sure, it was a good
group. in the sense of.. the artwork. but, the atmo
sphere wasnt very stable
at all. there was at least one fight everyday, and we got
fed up with it.
power struggles, etc. so, that brings me to samsar
a. rza invited me in, neato.the pack
looked nice, so i joined up. anyways, thats the story.
just wanted
to let you, whoever may be reading this, know, or if you e
ven care :. next,
id like to thank everyone who voted for me in the
awards96 held by fractal.
i was suprised id even be mentioned on *one* of the lists
at all. congrats to
everyone else on the lists also. btw, look for my asc

ran by that silly guy, cain. he rocks at asc
ii, ya know. oh, and

Well, the awards actually happened,
and when I think of the awards I
think of the words: chaos, shock
, and I was robbed. S
ome people cried
conspiracy, some people called it justice. To be honest
I dont know what to
say about the awards. I myself didnt win anything and a
t first I was a lil
miffed, but then I really didnt care.
Yes, some people deserved awards that didnt get a
ny: Pnakotic,
Hannibal Lecter, Marshall Law, etc.
Then again, maybe if they were still
drawing these last few months they might have won. The b
ottom line is this
his how you people voted.
I mean, yes, I admit I voted for myself 50,000 tim
es under different
iraqI alias to win best logo artist. : I guess frac ca
ught on around
47,586.. Overall, I think with some more planning a
wards 97 could be alot
better alot fairer and alot more organized. The n
ick changing was gay, and
that really annoyed me and many others. I also think may
be, people who were
not on irc could have gotten some awards, but what can yo
u do. Im not about
to start telling fractal to go into hiding.
I think the new ansi artist award was probably the
best of all of
them. I mean Misfit, Trip,
Flame, Defiant, these guys
really rock. Im glad
they got some recognition. So in a sense you could say a
wards gives everyone
a chance to win something - if you are recognized as at l
east being good, not
a ansi god. MAESTRO rocks and so does
queerie.

after a succesful raid in atlanta, georgia, sams
ara could
succesfully release eerie from the trashcan he w
as being held
into by halaster since last months fire pack.
the samsara
tactical team had to work hard on this one, play
ing with
explosives whatnot, well, they blew some stu
ff up for the
gratuitous hell of it.
anyhow, back to our program.
