News update for 11/95.
Hey dudes, flax here compiling the first Sick pack in two months. To be honest
things have really slackened up amongst the existing sick members despite the
encouraging signs in the way of the groups popularity and new talent.
Woj, arguably Sicks best artist, has done sweet fuck all thanks to some
mysterious sexual disease hed prefer we didnt mention..
When psychotic went down for about a week, word got round that it would be
down for months, so submissions slowed down in a big way.
On a positive note..
We now have a viewer thanks to the great coding of Dark Fiber/NuKE, which is
truely one of the best viewers Ive seen .. sickly smooth scrolling!
We also have a new application generator by Black Ninja and Enraged Prisoner.
Its not exactly the best app gen in the world but it does the job. Well have
a better one in the next pack which I bloody hope will have more art.
Psychotic is now running 2 nodes, but the second node is for sick members and
affils only, so members wanting to submit art can get on easily.
I may be bitching about our own group but at least Im not bitching about the
weakness of the australian art scene, ba:. Sure there are only a few groups
but there is certainly a strong demand for them in this country ..
The first Sick pack, June, was downloaded from psychotic 128 times in its
first month of release. Since pack 2 was release over 3 months ago, not a
day has passed when it has not been leeched. Rumour has it that pack 3 had
passed through 5 boards within one hour of its release on psychotic, not
a bad record for a totally SLACK group eh? :
What else has been happenning .. umm foo fighters tickets came out this week
- fucking 54! .. two new trial members introduced into the group this month,
Blacksoul and Squirt who are both showing encouraging signs .. psychotic
should be be joining Madness net - recently setup by AV - very soon ..
silverchair singer made a mega fool of himself in a stage dive : .. rumours
everywhere that sick members are joining local anarchy groups! all untrue..
