Welcome to ROCs second pack. We hope you are as pleased to see
this pack out as we are. As you might have known in the last pack we did
not include our own viewer, the main reason for this was that it wasnt
finished. We are once again sorry to say, that this pack also, does not
have our own viewer yet. We hope to have it by the next pack. But not
having a viewer hasnt slowed us down at all.
There have been lots of changes
since our first pack . Some very
important ones at that, dealing with
management. Godsung was the founder of
ROC and therefore default president.
Due to the fact that he had gone into
this job unprepared , he has found
himself unfit to run the group and has
thus resigned. Currently he says he is We wave a
working on his ansi skills, and has fond farewell
said that he may re-apply later, to be to ROC founder
an ansi artist in ROC later on. This Godsung and
came as little surprise and we were wish him the
prepared to move on. In his place, the best of luck.
presidency broke into two parts, now run
by Galahad and Zealot.
This month, we also had some debate among the group as to whether
or not we should release packs monthly or bi-monthly. The major concern
was that most of the negative comments on the first pack was that it was
so incredible small. This seemed to be the only major problem in pack
itself, and some members figured that it might be to the benefit of the
group to release a pack ever two months that contained more work. However,
nonetheless, we have decided that we will be releasing a pack every month
no matter what the size is. Even though at present ROC is a small group,
we are serious are serious about what we do. Hopefully by releasing a
pack ever month this will convey that message to other prospective artists
that are interested in joining ROC.
The only other major thing that was
done this month was a distribution site
clean up. We went through our list of
distribution sites and the boards that
were judged sub par, were removed as a
site.The boards that are on the list are
currently sites, if your board isnt on
the list, your not a site. If you have
any problems with this, or you think
that there has been a mistake, then
contact us and get this cleared up now.
We are still looking for other sites,
so, if you feel you run a respectable
board and would like to be a site for
ROC, then contact us and let us know.
* Note: We try to keep one site per area
code, but there are always exceptions. out they go!
Since this was not done in the first pack like I believe it should
have been. I will go through quickly and give a brief run down of each
member currently in ROC.
Members as of now:
Zealot - A valuable member of ROC, Zealot does many things for the
group. He is a music composer and also does some coding.
He runs Too Fucking Hostile, the WHQ and is also a
co-president.
Galahad - He is ROCs ansi head, and truely ROCs best ansi artist.
Also, he is also the other co-president of ROC.
Blood Priest - One of the original members of ROC he runs a a ROC member
board called Babylonian Plunder.
MutherGoose - Came to ROC from a group called GRAFFiX before our first
pack was released. He is currently working on his skills
at drawing ansis.
LumberJack - He came to the group after the first release and is
incredible good at fonts. Wants to get more involved in
drawing pictures but his fonts are too good toleave
behind.
Apache - He was the president of GRAFFiX and came to ROC shortly
after our first pack and GRAFFiXs death. We look forward
to seeing his work.
Sargon - Came to ROC after a group called X-Productions died. He
He has been with ROC since thenear beginningand should
be putting out a lot of high quality work in the future.
Dark Fighter- Another member of the former X-Pro, he is a great coder
who has taken over our ill-fated viewer project.
Black Guard - Came to ROC a little before we released our first pack
and is still extremely new at the art of RIPs. If you
look at any of his pictures you probally wouldnt believe
that, we look foward to great things from him.
Arrant - This guy came out of no where. He recently joined us in
the hi-res VGA department and hopefully will be with us
for a long time to come. Just take a look at his debut in
in this pack, and nothing else needs to be said.
Equalizer - Listed as a coder for ROC but will be soon setting up
and managing a ROC net. If you are interested in joining
this net, please contact us.
Marduuk - He writes a lot a poetry and stories for ROC.
Jennifer - She just recently joined ROC. She recently started
calling out and is a very talkative lady:. She plans on
contributing lots of writings to ROC, from poerty to
informative pieces.
Dark Star - A member and founder of many other groups, he is an
incredible courier. He also runs a ROC distro site called
The Ninth Circle.
Theres not much more to babble about now. We hope to see more
applications from possible members in the future. We would like to hear
your comments and suggestions on this pack, so if you get a chance give
us some of your feedback.Enjoy the pack!
