The Adventures of Lucky, the Lavender Llama in the Land Of Never Before... PART 4 Daddys at work, and Bobbys at school, Mommys with the new baby, so he gets the footstool. He climbs up the counter, just as Mommy walks in, And now Tylers sitting in the corner in the den. Little brother needs changing, so Mommy gives him a hug, She says now be good, honey and he smiles with a shrug. He knows Mommys busy, but he still wants to play, And after work and after school seems so far away. He sits there just waiting and his eyes start to droop, When suddenly, at the window, the drapes part with a swoop. He jumps up, excited, and he runs to the spot Where Lucky stands, all smiling, his ears tied in a knot. Tyler gives him a hug and says Bobbys told me about you, I didnt believe him, but I know now that its true ! So whatll it, be? Lucky says to the boy, You want to come on, lets play? There so much to enjoy ! Theres plenty of time and so much to explore, Come on, and well go to Never Before Tyler jumped on his back as Lucky flew through the sky And soon he could see it, from his perch up so high.. The chocolate streets that Bobby had told him about, The circus tent and elm tree, no, there wasnt a doubt ! Tyler smiled as they landed and Lucky knelt down And together they walked through this magical town. They stopped and they drank from the wide kool-aid creek.
Around every corner, theyd stop to take a peek. They plucked gumdrops and jellybeans from the trees that they found. They danced with the butterflies and twirled all around. They came to a courtyard, saw a clown with balloons, He played a kazoo and they laughed at his tunes. The clown gave to Tyler a bright blue kazoo, And as Tyler played, something tugged at his shoe. He looked down and laughed at the pup he saw there. He held out a gumdrop and said Hi, there, Ill share. They played with the puppy but soon Lucky said, Wed better get home, for theres more fun ahead. It wont be too long before Bobby gets home, And you know its no fun to play all alone. Tyler jumped on his back and gave him a hug, He settled right down, he was comfy and snug. As they flew high, Lucky turned and said, When you feel like pouting, you can call me instead. For I know therell be times, when no one else can play. There are things they must do and things get in the way. Tyler laid his head on Luckys soft neck, Lucky turned around, but he didnt have to check, For Tyler was sleeping with a smile on his face, Lucky took him home and was gone with no trace. The next thing he knew, Bobby was there. Tyler got up and sat in the chair. He looked at his brother and said Oh, Bobby, its true ! Then he reached in his pocket and pulled out the kazoo... LB rCa98
