Thank you for downloading this Januarys DEFiANT Pack. Based in
Bakersfield, California, USA, AC of 8o5. This is our Premier pack,
So let me tell you a little about the group. It was originally
named PENTiUM PTM, Which started in September of 1994, but, by
the suggestion of Betrayer, the name was changed to DEFiANT DFT
In October of 1994, and we dropped both coordinators along with
most of the artist/poets/coder/ect., and started new. We gained
LiQUiD iMAGE, ETERNAL CHAOS, iNSANiTY MAN, ANARCHY-X, BLAZEN1,
BiNARY BEAST, and PHATAL Since Then. Along with them, XANAX,
ME DEATH ADDER, and ZEN DOG Make up the group this month. Well
hopefully get more members this month.
ART DEPARTMENT
Our Art Department Is fairly good in my opinion, considering
That this is our first pack. Lets talk about ansi first. XanaX,
Our Senior Artist, Done An Awesome Job on the ansi department,
Along with Me, LiQUiD iMAGE, and ETERNAL CHAOS. ETERNAL CHAOS Would
Have had more, but I didnt get in contact with him. LiQUID iMAGE
Will Be Leaving The Group. As for Rip, Phatal Done an Awesome Job
With The Only Rip, A DFT Promo, In This Pack. As For Ascii, I Think
That Me And iNSANiTY MAN did an awesome job! XanaX Was Also Kind
Enough To Do a Fileid.diz for this pack. And For Last, The VGAs.
I did an ok VGA DFT Promo, considering that it was my first VGA.
CODiNG DEPARTMENT
Our Coding Department has had a crisis. Our only coder,
ANARCHY-X, Done an app for us, DFT-APP.ZIP, But He included The
Whisper Whis Virus. We cleaned it completely, So if you Have a
DFT-APP.ZIP thas ISNT included in the pack, I would strongly
suggest searching your hard drive with McAfees Virus Scanner v1.17
or F-PROT. Use F-PROT to clean your hard drive if you do find a
Virus. For doing this, ANARCHY-X Will be deleted from the group.
Hopefully this hasnt caused too much damage. We didnt include a
viewer this month, but when we get a new coder and get situated,
Well redo the APP and include aviewer. I do apologize for any
Problems this may have caused.
LiT MUSiC DEPARTMENTS
Ive decided to put these two together, since they both only have
Me as a member. The lit department was ok, but we need more members.
In the music department, Ive include four mods that are old but
were never officially released in a pack, which have - MOD after
title.
APPLYiNG TO DEFiANT
Its simple and easy to do. Just fill out an application and U/L
it to the WHQ. Dont worry about the virus, if you use the zip
included with the pack, DFT-APP.ZIP, its cleaned.
