hello. the odd nature of this ansi artpack related archive is a bit odd ofc.
this archive came from a really old bbs backup from 2005 i was initially pullingmy own ansi artwork out of. at first i recall seeing these ansi files again backin 2021 or whatever. however at the time 2021, i just had more important
things to tend to. these files could have been added to a 2005 ansi archive but
for some reasons or for whatever reasons just werent.
the serious ODD nature of the contents is that the work of two people formerly
in this archive of compiled work are now long dead. it is like a little weird.
i have never had to deal with this in the ansi scene or whatever.
giger passed away some time in 2006 per bbs backup records.
sludge died in 2015 sadly.
anyway really back to the contents of this 1996 based ansi artpack archive. the
ansis or ansi art enclosed in this pack is unreleased ansi artwork from other
ansi artists during the 1996 united states bbs dial-up era.
penn, giger, mr. omerta, dark force local 209, an ascii pic by black knight
and i have no clue who else tbh and sludges unreleased s3m/mod audio trackfile.
the work is being released AS-IS hopefully in light to honor their work and keepit archived or cataloged somewhere online such as 16c. thanks for reading.
