1. Hello everyone, first off, I would like to welcome
you to the Cancer
march 1995 art package. We greatly improved this month, and our art
ists
have become even more dedicated. I would like to state our policy a
s a
group right now. We are here, to present our artists artistic abili
ty
and creativity to everyone. Each person uses their own style, their
own
medium etc. and here at cancer we like to display each and every art
istic
piece of quality to the world. Our goal, to be a contender, but whi
le
at that level of excellance, also maintain our free flowing, have fu
n
attitude at the art scene.
2. Now, id like to say our hellos and goodbyes.
First, id like to welcome to the position of senior Antichrist. He
has
been a big help as far as orginization, and recruiting has gone. I
can
already tell that he will be a big help to our ever growing team. N
ext is
The Venom, he joins our team as an ansi artist, who is returning to
the scene,
and is trying to regain his excellent ansi skills, at the sta
rt he was good,
but day by day, he grows in talent and skill. We would like to welc
ome him
to the cancer team. Next, Grim joined cancer. He is a very talente
d ascii
artist from somewhere in south florida and is trying to improve the
ascii
medium with some awesome fonts, and attempts at pics. Hopefully by
next
month his skill at ascii pics will have improved putting him in the
elite
class of picture ascii artists. Last but not least, id like to wel
come
macbeth to cancer. He is and extremely talented vga artist and will
help
bring some diversity to our group. His greatest talent comes in mov
ies.
We are trying to develop a way of releasing thses 1 - 2 minute Quick
time movies
but are having trouble due to space. These movies range from 1-3 me
gs
which in a art pack is quite large. We hope that in the next few mo
nths
we will have found a compression method where we can reduce the size
of these
rendered movies, and release them. On a sadder note, im sorry to
announce
the resignation of one of our esteemed artists Sir Lancelot. His id
eas and
support, and his artwork have helped cancer on its trip to success.
Every-
one at cancer wishes him the best of luck wherever his life and trav
els take
him. We also wish him the best of luck with his awesome BBS modding
group
illness.
3. As cancer grows, its support grows, and along with
its growing support

4. Cancer needs coders. Sorry to say, but our art dep
artment is growing strong
but our lack of coders is making it difficult to advance in the codi

department. We are looking for talented coders who program in pasca
l, asm, and
c and all direvitives. If you are interested in joining cnc as a
coder,
fill out the enclosed application and send it to your nearest suppor
t BBS.

5. A quick update, I have been receiving applications
with none of the
specific information filled out, MAKE SURE to mark the areas you pla

Make sure you have the application filled out correctly, as all info
rmation
is needed for us to make a educated decision on wether or not you wi
ll be
accepted. We have been lenient on the policy of incorrect applicati
ons, but
from now on out, if your application is not in the correct format it
will be
disregarded.
6. Last but not least, and all to sad I have to apolig
ize. In the last pack,
there was an ansi artwork by an artist named coolhand. It was a gan
gster pic.
To our surprise, one of our artists discovered that the gun h
ad been ripped
from an older ice ansi. Cancer was unnaware of the rip, and believe
d that the
pic was 100 original. Once we were informed of the rip, we
took immediate
action and forced the artist Coolhand to resign. Cancer sincerely a
plogizes
for the rip, and we hope to do anything possible in the future to pr
event
further riped pictures. We hope ice and the author of the ansi wher
e the gun
was ripped from can except our esteemed apology.
