The Alliance A New Force in 619 Newsletter Issue 1 July 17, 1994
Welcome, to the first ever Alliance Newsletter. First off, we should
tell you a little about ourselves. The Alliance is, or rather was a three grou
combination, the Children of Judas, Epinicion, and Sonic. It was never seen to
be a merger, but a combined effort to bring new talent into the scene, just
something that 619 can say, HEY! Weve got one more group that looks like it
going to fail! but we wont, we are dedicated and just out to have some good
old fun. Now, we will compete, especially with our main rival group here in
619, Pro. With all of the combined talent and connections that the three group
had seperately, we saw benefits to all of the groups if we were to join. So,
after all that jazz we have decided to drop all of the COJ/EPI/SNC junk and
just say we are The Alliance.
The Alliance was started when Black Magik and Mendelssohn were in
chat on The Hierarchy. They were blabbing about something that made no sense
whatsoever, as most chats go, when they came up with the idea of The Alliance.
Since then many things have happened. The Alliance has gotten support from
such people as Guile ACiD, Faazy Manifest, and Axe Battler Shiver, and
are on their way to international standings. We may not be the most talented
artists but we are a dedicated group of artists and musicians and we are here
to stay, we will not expunge into oblivion if we get flamed. So if you think
we shouldnt be on the scene becasue were not talented enough, oh well..
The Senior members of The Alliance are Black Magik, Island of Reil,
Mendelssohn, Nemesis, and Schizophreniac. We also have two advisors who give
us a viewers opinion on what looks good and what doesnt, Black Aria and
Digital Orgasm. There is no corporate ladder, all of the Senior members of the
group do their work and have deadlines just like all of the other members of
the group. The only thing that distinguishes the Seniors from the other
artists/musicians is that they also decide what art/music is to be released in
the pack, and they decide which applicants will be accepted. We, the Senior
members, do all of this extra work but we dont think of ourselves as above
the other members, we are also artists/musicians. We also take all of the
members opinions into as much consideration as we take our own.
Now, you have heard in the beginning of this little newsletter about
the Children of Judas, Epinicion, and Sonic. Well, in The Alliance, COJ and
Sonic have permenantly merged, and most of the members of Epinicion have
joined with us. COJ and Sonic are no longer, they, along with the majority of
the Epinicion members, are forever The Alliance. Epinicion is the premier
music group in 619, and they are joining us as a seperate group because they
have more plans for the future that The Alliance would interfere with, they
plan on releasing demos and more musicdiscs.
Well, in the future you should expect a HELL of a lot more work and
releases from us. We wont have scheduled releases due to the fact that
our everyday lives get somewhat busy, and are more improtant than making art
and music... Expect packs to be irregularly released with unscheduled
side releases. Well, thats just about all we have to blab about for now, look
for our releases and we will be glad to take any and all criticism on our
work.
